Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

It’s a really weird ‘memory’ of him. He was basically just the jack harrison of the time, a bog standard winger who did an alright job for the team in his own way but clearly wasn’t actually very good.
All true but came across as a lovely genuine bloke.

Means nothing in the pitch but perhaps means some of us have fonder memories

I think @Kurt.'s updates are so cryptic, that unfortunately most of the forum can't even begin to fathom them out!! (Myself included)

I'd say, let's give him the benefit of the doubt, double down or even treble down lads & give him till the end of the window!!...@Kurt. Won't let us down 😉

Stand on Kurt 🫡
And his partner in crime is @Moomin so are they just on hook, line and sinker trip or are they both legit????

Look at the past and you be the judge

He was certainly a diamond Moyes spotted in the rough, either way.

I get the feeling he’s not so up for that sort of thing this go around - but I’ll leave the door open to the idea it could still happen while the window is open.
Moyes only has 2 years to impress the owners
He will want players that can go straight into the first 11
He’s the only manager I can remember who actually became out of contract , normally they are sacked or leave
He will want to get us into Europe to get a new contract from the new owners

ah come on put some respect on kilbanes name. Not a great ball player but a good one. Not much pace but weirdly had great close control and could legitimately run at players. Not unlike mcneil. Not as good a left foot but more physical and a better athlete and could play through the center.

He could hold on to the ball, didnt give it away cheap and always showed for a pass. He fell off afternhis first season and we outgrew his level before he went to wigan but thereve been far worse players for us before and since

He was good his first season with us and had a legit international career with Ireland. A nice man and honest player who fit this club really well.
