Left him out of CL squad as well.

Lot of money for a player with half a good season under his belt.

I thought that, too. All credit to him for his goals last season, but it's very early to be splashing that amount of cash from what I've seen.

Stuttgart have made a tidy amount of money based on Newcastle's inability to get their first target (and well their second, third etc..) over the line.

German's just sell strikers really well. It's a league that doesn't defend, everyone scores loads, price tags inflate.

Yeh he's a weird striker as well. I don't know how he'll pan out.
Admittedly, I haven't seen enough of him to make a truly informed decision, but from what I have seen and his statistics and whatnot...

... I would put a few quid on him being another...

Oh no, he's miles better than him :lol: he's just really unorthodox. Sort of like a really tall attacking midfielder more than a striker.
