West Stand

I know it’s the modern way, but it really irks me that the sections of seating either side of the tunnel are corporate.
Second half underway last night and most of the seats were still empty.
It looks horrible at Wembley, so I guess the only saving grace for us is that the tv cameras are on the West Stand side also.
It seems a lot of it is in the delay in getting food and drink sorted i get what you mean said it to my lad last night looks like Wembley they just dont seem to have got a handle on the areas were people have paid good money and £6.50 for a doughnut last night :(

If I was in the posh bit, I wouldn't come out for the second half at all

Thought the same during Brighton/comparisons to Club Wembley.

Previously I thought shame away fans are on TV cameras, after Brighton I'm glad they are, so the TV camers aren't on that section.

Nice to have easy ties in cups against lower league clubs, but the atmosphere almost always suffers.

I’d guess there is going to be much more of people wandering around the concourses during play for the first few games, looking for the toilets or just seeing what’s on offer, and leaving their seat empty. Imagine no one was doing that at Goodison.

People want to get there moneys worth i suppose, plus the games on screen too

It’s not just delays, loads of people just aren’t arsed is the truth of it. The people in front of me in the east stand spent most of the game taking pictures, sending them to other people, and going to the bar/getting food before leaving 20 minutes early. That’s just what comes with a new stadium I suppose.
