Some fans especially on social media need to have a player to gripe about. McNeil, Keane and Coleman are the recent targets, all of whom have shown themselves to be worthy squad members at present.

Why would anyone want to get rid of McNeill. He's a very good player and an ideal squad member.

If we got rid of him we'd have to replace him.

Agreed. The biggest issue for me is that I don't trust the recruitment team to find a player that could even at least match McNeil.
