Must admit when I saw that Thelwell signed Max Aarons I wondered if him and Zat were the same person because I can't think of anyone else that rates the fella .

Have Kopite Kev and Zat ever been seen together? Just asking 😂

I don't care who he goes to as long as we get some dosh .

I'm guessing that his book value must be around £3-4 m so any sort of fee will do.

He may never be any good, but he should have been loaned out 2 seasons before but we were broke and couldn't bring in a third striker, then he got injured in the preseason last year. The guy just needs to play somewhere, and he won't get that at Everton right now.

I don't really agree with the loaning out 2 years ago bit. That type of thing is very much damned if you do, damned if you don't. Loan him out immediately and it becomes 'we don't look after players properly, you can't just buy players and then farm them out expecting other people to develop them no wonder he never settled'. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with how he was handled in his first year here; being kept around to help him settle, learning from the club's own coaches, training with top level players, playing some junior football and being slowly introduced to the first team is absolutely fine. There were signs last pre-season that it had gone well and he was ready to push on from it but he got injured and has never quite got back to where he was. That's the way football goes.
 
Chermiti on loan to Rangers is a cracking move for both parties. We aren’t getting a fee no matter what until he goes and plays some games.

Really don’t think it is. Abysmal standard of football in that league.

He would of been better sent to any Portuguese side if we hope to ever recoup a decent bit of cash
