Still quite a few kids in though and thought was over 18’s. Notcarsed though cause the little ones behind me are right up for it. As soon as a chant starts the right into it. They’ve been well taught

I'd got word of last ditch expansion to accommodate certain ticket buy fails. That'd part explain how the area has not been fenced off fully and ingress is available to surrounding none CV zones. They were saying on one of the podcasts that the club increased the capacity of club view after release because of the initial demand for that price point and it wasn't meant designed to hold the capacity its been sold at.
'Let me be your fantasy' booming? in stadium or just radio?Fair play. Club view is loads better. Just got in 30 mins before ko, no que Still naff like but it’s a start.
As a one off visit dye to cost and inability to get tickets elsewhere if ground I was left feeling I had been completely ripped off. I paid £195 or something for a seat I nearly collapsed to reach a pint and half a hot dog and a programme. Villa game coming up managed get tickets In a better position but have to buy my own beer and half hot dog (£11) for £51. Club view ST holders must be livid. Massive re think needed or at least an apology to the one off supporters that ST holders got with a £20 apology.
Likely due to the fact everyone and their mother didn't have £10/20 to spend in there to get their 'value'Fair play. Club view is loads better. Just got in 30 mins before ko, no que Still naff like but it’s a start.

It was dead in there mate. Very easy to get served as it should be. If the club offered say £150 to ditch the food vouchers then I'd say that's a fair deal and would relieve a lot of issues. The club obviously won't offer that as the whole reason CV exists is to rinse fans whilst throwing in high mark up items like beer and programmes for perceived value.I never went yesterday, but like the Club said after Roma complaints - only league games are really Club View for that reason.
Also, yesterday had delays getting people in which would have helped.
I do understand they made some operational changes though - like having runners between servers. So they didn't have the person at the till running back and forth.
Sounds like the opening setup of a disaster movie. When the novelty of the ground dries up and fans are still being messed around there'll be little skirmishes where tempers flare and staff and other supporters get the brunt of it. It'll sour what good will there is, and for what, a few extra quid a head out of a couple of thousand. Needs a rethink before something significant happens. It was dead in there mate. As it stands they're still on a hiding to nothing when 2000 people attempt to spend £20 at Villa. It's standing to be a false dawn.
Especially when you've got a chief Steward yesterday blaming 'fit and able' fans for queues for the lifts. It's going to reach a boiling point soon with how ignorant the club are acting over the whole thing.Sounds like the opening setup of a disaster movie. Oh dear, ability discrimination. Ground opened for real games business on Sunday. And it took 4 days until Wednesday for the authority in the new stadium to throw the support under the bus.Especially when you've got a chief Steward yesterday blaming 'fit and able' fans for queues for the lifts. I don’t think club view was stated as over 18’s only anywhere although I might be wrong. The club only offered full price season tickets in club view with the only concessions being for over 65’s. I think the idea was to encourage over 18’s as most people wouldn’t choose to forgo the child concession. In the same way I didn’t think they actually banned under 14s in lower south (although I’m less sure of this) but they did say it was against government guidance and they didn’t offer them a price concession. For a cup game though like last night all the tickets were the same price and the club were selling under 18 tickets for club view on the resale site for the £10 price.Still quite a few kids in though and thought was over 18’s.
