Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I thought so too, there were a lot of moans near us but I thought that we got it right. A low key low energy performance was just what was needed given the size of our squad and another game on Saturday. Great stat about Seamus having the most seasons as an outfield player- 17 I think they said and equalling Southall’s. Plus he had a great game which was lovely to see.
The siren and the lights just before kick off was amazing- very atmospheric.
I’m working this morning and I’m shattered - I need to plan these things better 😂
A win with no injuries and some flourishing new partnerships was all we could ask for really. Branthwaite and KDH still to come into the team as well and we are a very decent outfit this time. I still expect another 2 signings as well which will really add to the competition for places.

Hopefully as the team gels then the goals will flow for Beto and Barry. On the basis of last night, they will get plenty of chances at least.

Watched it ( at home of course) and whilst there's plenty to improve upon - move the ball faster and finish better - I thought it was a good performance with plenty to give hope for the future.

Armstrong is going to be some player.

I remain totally inconvenienced by Beto AT . If we can bring in a quality striker I'd move him on in a heartbeat

Well I still think we need a RB and a CDM too .
I’m hoping we don’t splash out £20mill for what would be a decent player but not first choice, just providing competition for places. Save the money, develop Armstrong instead of sending him out on loan, then next year spend £40-50 mill on a Grealish/Dibling type of player .

Agreed. A pathway needs set out now for Armstrong to embed him as a starter. That lad could save us a lot of money.
