Did the STH get paid twice?... asking for a friend! That happened on Sunday as well with ppl by me. Season ticket seats doubled sold! Crazy
Have you not read the last 20 posts? When was the last time /have we ever had 48000 in for a league cup game bar finals?
Can't see an issue.
Don't think anybody is criticising the attendance, it's the fact that there were so many empty seats when people missed out on being able to buy tickets. When was the last time /have we ever had 48000 in for a league cup game bar finals?

I'm guessing he paid via card, get the bank fraud vultures on the case, one whiff of consumer rights breach and there'll be hell to pay, and the morons at hq that have let it happen will be back pedalling quicker than you can say 'negative headlines'.I thought that...to just fob him with off ease.

Genuinely outrageous butvthe sort of thing I've sadly come to expect from the club. They will have known full and well about the empty seats available as wellMy mate got to the turnstile yesterday and this ticket didn't work so he went the ticket office and they told him "they'd double sold this ticket" and basically went on to say whoever got in first got the seat.
Even worse they couldn't reimburse him and he'd paid 15 quid for parking as well.
Poor sod basically had to drive back his and catch second half on the telly.
Am sorry thats absolutely diabolical.
Those blocks were empty vs roma and Brighton as wellView attachment 323176
The way it's batches that are empty and not empty seats here and there suggests it's not auto cup ST holders just not turning up.
Maybe dodgy resale sites getting hold of batches of tickets and not being able to sell them at daft prices?
Did think the gaps for segregation were a bit generous. A tarp over 4/5 rows would have done the job. It was Mansfield not Millwall or Galatasary we were playing.Don't think anybody is criticising the attendance, it's the fact that there were so many empty seats when people missed out on being able to buy tickets.
Same on Saturday - over 1000 spare seatsOn the face of it, an attendance of well over 48,000 for a second round match against lower league opposition is truly stupendous. It just shows what a big club we are.
Something is bugging me, though. My son couldn't get a ticket for the game. Despite this, I noticed many unoccupied seats tonight. Our great stadium holds almost 53,000 people, so what happened to those 4 or 5 thousand seats? Having large banks of unoccupied seats is not conducive to a good atmosphere at all.
How can we resolve this issue?
It seems the problem is not so much the segregation of the seats, but keeping fans segregated on the concourse.Did think the gaps for segregation were a bit generous. A tarp over 4/5 rows would have done the job. It was Mansfield not Millwall or Galatasary we were playing.
