I'm sure he's very good but he mostly seemed to pass it backwards and drift into the middle of the pitch.

It was forgettable for me and I was hoping to see a bit more excitement from him.

Very, very early days but I'd hope he would be confident enough to drive at the likes of Mansfield.

He didn’t run past anyone but he sent them for a few hotdogs with minimal effort. Was in third gear and looked like he could have done anything he wanted. Very Grealish lite in the confidence he has in his own ability.

I'm sure it will come but did he even take on one player in his cameo?

I did see him try and slide a nice ball for Beto but I had him as a new Grealish in my head and I didn't really see any of that from him in his brief appearance.

He did a few times without ever really breaking into a sprint. Drop of the shoulder/body feints to evade tackles, definitely more to come but his close control looks pretty remarkable.

Btw for anyone dissing his curtains, every time I come to the city all I see is this, everywhere, on everyone.

Do you understand how hard it is trying to work out which of our U18’s are playing when they all look identical?

Did fine. Nice game for him to come on in. Gets a taste of the stadium. It’s just a pity we couldn’t afford the same luxury to Azou to ease him in gently.

Yes played it very safe. Which is understandable when making his debut. As his confidence grows, hopefully so will his ability to take on defenders more.

Enjoyed him beating players by standing still and just feinting. Can play

You can’t love Grealish’s style of play without loving Tyler’s. Weirdly similar languid but effective touches.
