He signed two days ago, only met the lads first time yesterday, second ever home game for the club at BMD, potential banana skin fixture, only a goal up when he comes on, 48.5k people… kept it simple, kept hold of the ball, never felt panicked or like he needed to do anything crazy. Very cool calm and collected debut

To be fair, find it funny because the generic haircut for lads in Liverpool is absolutely awful. Everyone loves a bowl cut.

Talent is immediately obvious. Calm on the ball, beating players with skill rather than pace. Makes it look so easy that I can already see the criticism he will get from some for a perceived lack of urgency. Reality is that he's just that good, he's 10x more chilled out on the ball on the pitch than you are watching him at home on the sofa.

When he gets fully fit and integrated into the team he is going to be some player for us

Comfortable receiving the football and holding onto it, good fit for the style of team we seem to be building. Looks very very confident for his age, hopefully can assert himself well and build good relationships with the other attackers

Just wanted to see a bit of why we've paid 35 million for a lad against a league one side.

I'm sure it will come but did he even take on one player in his cameo?

I did see him try and slide a nice ball for Beto but I had him as a new Grealish in my head and I didn't really see any of that from him in his brief appearance.

The little things where Moyes excels, the lads only been here couple of days and instead of just sitting on the sidelines biding his time, or a 2 minute cameo at the end..

Moyes gives him 30min in a non (personal) pressure game, its like putting his arm his shoulder and just letting him know from the off that he's part of the family..

Also loved the praise grealish got coming off...

I'm sure he's very good but he mostly seemed to pass it backwards and drift into the middle of the pitch.

It was forgettable for me and I was hoping to see a bit more excitement from him.

Very, very early days but I'd hope he would be confident enough to drive at the likes of Mansfield.
