Maybe it shows our progress that along with Nidiaye he was our best attacking threat last year to a player who’s not even guaranteed to start. Moyes has options now, there are no excuses.

Gueye next to KDH. Alcaraz in front. Grealish left and Ndaiye right. Dibling will gradually get more game time. Ndaiye could always play up top at times as well.

At the moment I think he has the best eye for a pass in a team full of dribblers.

It doesn't always work out for him though. Sometimes he tried a one two and the touch doesn't go where he wants it to.

For 12m that's good value tbf.

Great goal but misplaced a lot of passes tonight. Worked very hard but not much came off for him tonight, but I do like him as a player.

He is still only 22 and the potential is clearly there. Once he really gets settled in a decent side, I think he will become a really good player.

Reminds me very much of Cahill. Out of all of our attacking midfield options he’s the one who looks to attack the box most often. Will get goals if he’s given enough game time.

Very good for about an hour and then seemed to fade a little. I thought it was his best display in the first half for us, he really ran the show at times.

Though not his greatest fan, I thought Coleman was easily our best player, particularly in the first half. Grealish awareness was notable and I thought Charley was moderate at best. Shout out to Kean who once again never put a foot wrong. He has blossomed under Moyes
