no it's not, he's a squad player on relatively low wages who brings bags of experience and leadership.
It's a no brainer.

Astonishing servant for the club this lad. Remember watching him for the first time playing out of position at left back in Europe (Benfica?) getting ripped apart, and really feeling for the lad. To imagine he’d be playing here tonight having given as much as he has to the club is incredible.

Yup. Very professional performance. Wouldn’t like to see him exposed against some top level wingers in the PL but he can do a job still when the circumstances are right.
