how does them not playing each other mean they won’t clash with european fixtures,? i don’t understand it

The cup games takes place over the same 2 weeks as champs league (1st week) and europa league (2nd week). UEFA will not allow those to be moved.

So if a champs league team was to play a europa league team, there would be a clash they couldn’t change.

No reason why champs league can’t play chanps league and europa league vs Europa league though. But rather than work that out, they just give them easier draws.

I get the issues with uefa. But it’s a corrupt fix when they then still keep the champions league teams apart unnecessarily.

Apparently its to avoid potential 'scheduling conflicts' with UEFA yet I still can't seem to wrap my head around exactly where those 'conflicts' would potentially even come about?

With the side we have now, and the different attacking options we have, I think away games may suit us. With home teams attacking us it should give our flair players more space on the counter.
