Digital tickets

Did have a problem with the season ticket physical card, was asking to go the ticket office to print one out. Defo looks like still alot of problems
 


No surprise.

Ticket didnt work. Thankfully arrived early enough to ensure I cohld get a replacement.

Bar Scanner said "Ticket used", Ticket staff issued no problem.

Why must they insist on that when paper tickets were just readily available?

Clear as mud. Lots of people's first game, had 8 people infront trying to get into Gate 12, as they had an 11-13 category Ticket, not explain to them.

Simply not good enough.

Queue for tickets was about 100 deep by the time I walked away about 1935.
 
Season ticket holder, I can’t see the option to forward my ticket to friends and family in my list (all members). I only see the resell option. Anyone else got the same issue for the Villa game?
 
I wondered if technically it was still a sellout because Seat Unique may have paid the club for the seats they failed to sell.

Hopefully both parties decide to reduce their allocation.

If SU couldn’t sell their quantity of tickets for the first ever PL game at the stadium, the likelihood is that they’ll only ever sell their lot for the derby.

I think for the first game they might have been hoping for a lot of last minute sales to fans who hadn't managed to get tickets. The club could sort something out where they have our youth teams or their families on a standby list so if the tickets aren't sold they fill the seats at short notice. It looks terrible with blocks of empty seats.
 
No issues getting in for me, first time I’ve used the digital format since the Doncaster game last season but went through smooth as silk. I’m guessing the issues are what caused the 15 min delay?
 
If the email has three tickets attached I think it should have three separate links. If there is only one link to click on then I suspect there is only one ticket attached.

Just a thought, but is there any chance you have different emails linked to your two kids accounts and their tickets could have been emailed to them?

Try “resend email” in your ticketing account.

Thanks for the posts. It was all 3 tickets in 1 email as the lead booker. I had to go to the ticket office and even they didn’t know why it wouldn’t work, after trying themselves on my phone. They issued us with paper tickets instead, which was a lot easier all round.

Glad you got it sorted mate. It's shameful that the club has turned off phone lines and we're relying on fellow supporters to try to help each other out and avoid unnecessary hassle just to be able to use the tickets you've paid for.

That was exactly my view on it as well, having paid for the tickets it shouldn’t be a chore to get them to work, that should be a given. At least there was no queue at the ticket office surprisingly.
