It would be nice to finish a very difficult transfer window for Everton with players in key positions secured, and enough of a squad to create a bit of confidence in the fans. Add this to the positivity of the new 126 decibel stadium, a couple of decent performances and you’d see a fanbase healing, and a feel good factor the club can really get behind and exploit.

A competent Everton with Evertonians backing them is a rare but really good thing.

I think if Patterson goes we must see a replacement. I reckon that Norwich full back might be the one we're after. I see Dibling played right wing back before.

I can see Fisher being a repeat of Patterson and I don't think he's ready for Premier League level. I'd be disappointed if we got him personally.

Well we have a domestic loan to use so who can we get off Chelsea? Surely they have a right back or a midfielder we could use.

Surprised no one has come in for Jason Knight at Bristol City, I remember him being mentioned early in the window, I've been impressed anytime I've seen him play. Would probably be more of a squad filler than a starter though but suspect he would be reasonably priced (if there is such a thing) and he is 24 so a good age.

Has an engine but not much else.
