It really didn't come across live at the game. At the time I thought he seemed lightweight and ineffective.. but having rewatched it since, I think I was being too harsh. I didn't realise that he was integral to both goals. I'd love him to get the start against Mansfield tonight to just get more minutes in and build his confidence.

Glad I wasnt the only one on here who was unimpressed with him at the game, others around me thought the same. I found him frustrating, too many balls sailed over his head as he jumped too early and I thought he looked very slow when running on to a ball. I thought Beto offered more of a threat when he came on and could have had 2 goals.
Maybe I was being over critical and focusing on physicality and goal threat, must watch the extended highlights with a more positive mindset, would be massive for us if he can deliver. I think himself and Beto may not be as similar in type as we thought...

Maybe take into account that most modern day strikers don't want the ball at head height, look at Haaland he can't head it for toffee!

I'd imagine if your head was made of toffee it'd be difficult heading it though.

I think if Patterson goes we must see a replacement. I reckon that Norwich full back might be the one we're after. I see Dibling played right wing back before.
