To me a regulation header means an unmarked attacking player with a heading opportunity 6-8 yards out from goal.

Yeah, it's incredible really how "talent" - you know, the technical stuff - blinds people to all of the other key ingredients necessary for success: mentality/attitude, physical attributes, intelligence...

So many things required. Here's hoping we're lucky.

There's virtually no such thing. Nearly all headers have a degree of difficulty. The one he missed wasn't easy.
