Dominic Calvert-Lewin watch

You make it sounds like he just sat down and pocketed his wage and didn't want to contribute which is bollocks.

That’s your interpretation to try and back up the weird support you want to give him.

I didn’t actually say anything like that 😂

Stop twisting my words to suit your agenda of fawning over DCL.

It’s weird.

I haven't twisted anything:

You said I made it sound like he didn’t want to contribute.

I didn’t say that.

I take it you can read?

I said he was lucky to pick up big money for doing little.

Do you actually read what people write or are you just on transmit 24 x 7?

He left.
He, along with all the rest, is dead to me. 🤷‍♂️
I’ve got no ill-feelings towards the lad, Thomas, and yes, what he does or doesn’t do, doesn’t really concerns me either…

But come season end, and Dom has had a big hand in helping those Leeds knobs getting relegated again, well, that’s just fine and dandy by me. ;)

I mean I tend to skip your posts whenever possible but yes, I read it.

Lucky to pick up his wage, the wage he earns playing football, when he can, when he's not blighted by injuries he doesn't want to have.

You just sound more resentful he got his wage whilst not contributing.

Much much weirder to get so twisted about people simply saying they wish well on an ex-player lol. One whose goal literally kept us in the league no less. But you're well hard for not having any of that girly empathy stuff so it's all good.

That's one rough debut, especially when it was so vital that he hit the ground running.

It's hardly a surprise though, he has absolutely terrible goalscoring instincts and he can't strike a ball properly so he routinely misses guilt-edged chances. He used to bring a lot to the table aside other than scoring goals but injuries have really taken a toll on his athleticism.

I really don't have high hopes for him or Leeds. They're fans don't just see themselves as a promoted club who should savour being a PL club for as long as possible, they expect to stay up which puts big pressure on him as one of the strikers to score the goals to make that happen. I thought Leeds were terrible against us despite how bad we were, and then a 5-0 loss to Arsenal and going out of a cup to a Championship club in crisis.

There's every chance Dom will be playing in the Championship next season.
