Big Soucek saving West Ham’s bacon again.
Funny thing is though the promoted teams always go with pace out wide over other qualities and it normally burns them. Sunderland have done the same btw and gone with burners.McNeil is a bit of a fish out of water in the Prem now.
Look at the sides we’ve played. Leeds wide players were James and Gnonto and Brighton had Mitoma and Minteh. Lightening quick and direct - and most teams play like that too. Not many want a plodder like McNeil.
James has had several seasons in the premier league with several clubs and has never produced at any of them. Gnonto is fast and tricky but has no end product at all.James was the best offensive player in Championship last season.
He might be rubbish, but there's a long list of average Championship players mentioned in this thread that people want Everton to pay silly money for.
And the season before Greaves was amazing in the championship - what happened last year in the prem...James was the best offensive player in Championship last season.

Not sure if I'm miss understanding this.. ..are you on about deulofeu? If so then we definitely bought him.Btw deul was a loan with definitely no option to buy, remember it well. Evertonians were warned by press not to get too attached as..
Mcneil felt like gray was frustrating, id prob keep mcneil unless do ge a bid cant say no to. Just hopefully is seen just as an option on the leftFunny thing is though the promoted teams always go with pace out wide over other qualities and it normally burns them. Honestly though who was more effective for us, Gray or McNeil.
Think he is, we had sn option as well so he's wrong. The reason was Barca had the buyback in that saleNot sure if I'm miss understanding this.. ..are you on about deulofeu? If so then we definitely bought him.
Honestly mate it's sadly now all about PSR - McNeil sold now for say 20m offsets around 50% of our spend so farMcneil felt like gray was frustrating, id prob keep mcneil unless do ge a bid cant say no to. Just hopefully is seen just as an option on the left
Yeah have accepted it now as will be a massive part of us moving forward as a club.Honestly mate it's sadly now all about PSR - McNeil sold now for say 20m offsets around 50% of our spend so far
Just be whatever comes up first now think will just be putting offers/ talk with clubs.Surprised we haven’t got a RB as yet in this window, this has to be the next position to address.

Latest from Sky Sports News' chief correspondent Kaveh Solhekol:
Crystal Palace are close to agreeing a deal with Villarreal for winger Yeremy Pino.
The fee under discussion is believed to be nearly £26m.
Palace are looking to find a replacement for Eberechi Eze after selling him to Arsenal.
A deal for Leicester City's Bilal El Khannouss is off as things stand.
Pino can play on either wing and would be able to play as one of the No. 10s in Oliver Glasner's system at Palace.
The 22-year-old is a Spain international with 15 caps.
