Shoehorning crap like this into the show.
If we hadn't been crap during the 3:00 - 4:45 game time then this definitely drove me to drink

Should have done this version. It was all right until they added the sodding song and dance numbers.

I must admit, I’ve never watched an episode of Dr. Who.Is there a Doctor Who fan base here? Is it something that gets discussed, or are people kind of over the show by now?
I became a HUGE Doctor Who fan starting about 8 months before the 50th anniversary. I've only seen the episodes since Eccleston, and though I tried, I could never get past 3 episodes of Jodie (though I do not blame her for the dumpster fire that was.)
Is this topic okay for here, or shall I kindly shove off with it?
Yeah, it's definitely up there. I enjoyed Battlestar Galactica. Not a fan of Star Trek or Star Wars. I think I like Doctor Who less for the sci-fi aspect and more for the characters. I'm also a person who doesn't get bothered by other people not liking it. I've seen people get mad at others for not liking Doctor Who. Heck, a person can loathe the show with all their being, and I'm not going to be annoyed at them for it.I must admit, I’ve never watched an episode of Dr. Who.
I’ve always assumed it was up there with Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek as a top tier series for nerds…![]()
I need to try and watch those classic episodes. I started with Eccleston, and from what I gather the 2005 on version of the show looks and feels different than the classics.Loved the original series with William Hartnell. Especially early episodes like the cavemen, daleks, and cybermen. Lost interest after Tom Baker
