Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

KDH, Gallagher, Pacqueta, Mainoo.

Reasons, Pacqueta I've seen show nothing since his long suspension - dubious character to ever be doing that. What appetite dies he even have left now, Mainoo I think is one of the most over hyped, overrated players I've seen - nobody knows what h actually is - be sure every role he's played he ends up losing out to others in - massive ego also btw far far exceeding any talent.

Gallagher I like always have but I think KDH overall is a more intelligent player.
I doubt we will play Gueye next to KDH with Ndaiye and Dibling on the wings and Grealish as the #10 away to teams like Liverpool, City, Arsenal and Chelsea.

If we had Gallagher next to Gueye with KDH as the #10 and say Grealish down the left and Ndaiye down the right then that would be a lovely balance imo especially with Dibling as a live wire to bring on whilst he develops.

Apparently from Sky we are after

Ainsley Maitland Niles, Barcelona’s Hector Fort and Norwich’s Kellen Fisher at RB
This is the guy. Barca need him gone to open up a space to register Bardghji. High potential attacking rb, also can cover lb.

Likely mates with Aznou as they were same age group at La Masia, maybe he can put in a good word.

It appears to be an apt time to do a review of poster behaviour this summer and ask if there were any learning points from those who perhaps over reacted and assured us of future and doom in the transfer market. Maybe we can cite the examples of these posts in such a thread? In the interest of continual improvement for the good of our forum.
The bed wetters thread ?

Basically just what I said really. He already does the things Gana does (win the ball at an elite level) but has room to grow in the passing department.

I think Tim Iroegbunam has huge potential. So does H Armstrong
Unless we are loaning them out, they need game time.

If we are buying further midfield additions, they either need to be Top half proven or just give the boys game time and save a pqaket for January / next year.

I will save you some time.

I have been very quiet with regard to transfer dealings.

Just came on to mostly see if rumours have been transformed to confirmations.

Where I did come short was Michael Keane who I thought would cost us valuable points at the beginning of the season due to Moyes being forced to start him, but even that has pleasant surprise thus far.

So have a blessed day and good health to you.

I question your real motives .
Do you seriously think @chicoazul would risk his well-curated reputation as a paragon of truth and GOT harmony for the cheap thrill of AGGRO!?

Your name will be first on the list..

You missed the whole point of the post
I know we’d never get him but that’s not the point I was trying to draw out of the OP
You said he's not fancied because they played someone out of position, I said he was just back from injury.
You said we should bid, I'm saying there is no point because he'll play plenty for them.
Now you're saying we'd never get him despite saying we should bid

What was your point if I missed it? Seems a very well camouflaged point tbf

But it cant all be young players the same as it cant all be Prem experience / older players.

TBF, the balance has been ok so far. Barry, Aznou & Dibling are great prospects with hopefully good sell on value and Grealish and KDH offer experience and can slot straight in.
He won’t play Aznou imo, he said before Sunday he didn’t want to throw barry in this early. We have experience in midfield with gana, garner, KDH. I’m not saying let’s go and buy a 19yr old and play him number 6. I just don’t understand the brownhill or soucek links, they aren’t really what we need

Absolutely; a right back, and then I'm not sure what else but thus far the Transfer Committe has been brilliant so let's see.

He done those deals because he had to at West Ham,as you can see from West Ham this season they have no money. There is no credible evidence of him trying anything like that at Everton. His business has been top draw so far.
They spent 500mil while he was there and they wasted 300mil imo, ward prowse for 30mil just before his 29th birthday. Was a deal they needed to do because they had no money, that doesn’t add up.

I do believe that our learned friend @MikeH72 may want to take the lead on this very important topic, closely followed by our very own fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse @davek may wish to contribute too.

I wish you too a most pleasant day.

Keane has been a miles ahead of Takowski in the first 2 games.

Im worried about Tarkowski.
