He’s an undoubted talent but he’s not the finished article like Grealish.

Same with Barry up top that’s why I’d love us to get in an experienced CF.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Ndiaye right, Grealish left and Dibling played through the middle mate either, great thing though is we actually now have difficulty working out exactly where and who.

Had been reading similar for a few days on social media. Vast majority of comments suggesting we've overpaid and they're not concerned he has gone. Always a worry for me that. None of them seem particularly angry about the fact we've bought their 19 year old winger.

You just need to go look at their forums and see what they were saying before we were interested...

"I'm not sure people realise how good he is. The best player we've produced since Bale. We will get 70m for him."

"He is going to the very top, absolute class and head and shoulders above anything else we’ve got at 19 having only played a handful of league games. Classy, rolls Royce of a player"

"He is absolutely brilliant and I honestly believe wouldn't look out of place at any team in the premier league."

Pages and pages of comments like this. They are trying to convince themselves they're not concerned.

I was listening to the old saafampton manager, he said before the united game, he was sat looking at his phone, chilled as a cucumber. Got up, swaggered out, put in a terrific display. Players were bouncing off him. A machine !! Just seems to have that inner confidence, that will grow playing with Illy and Jack. I have wet sleeves with all the dribbling !!

I think the pennies dropped with moyes, now using ndiaye on the right with grealish left. That gives dibbling the perfect opportunity to come on as a sub for a fair few games, on for ndiaye.
The last thing a 19 year old is to feel the pressure from the off.
He should learn a lot from Grealish and Ndiaye as well.

They’re the very definition of a selling club, the only decent player they’ve ever kept is Le Tissier. They’re used to this happening.

I read a few Southampton fans disappointed in the fee yesterday, and there will always be a decent helping of copium deployed when a young prospect is sold.

Only time will tell - but we didn’t pay what Southampton were demanding, and the club seem to really want the lad - so we’ll see.

Yeah, they don't do anger as their model is based on a good academy and selling their starlets - and they do this better than anybody.

You are of course 100% correct, but that won’t stop some of the impatient bozo’s in our fanbase trying to write him off within 2 games unless he hits the ground running like a prime Ronaldo.

Just look at the Barry thread for example.
