I get your logic but he is a proven PL player with 15 goals and 18 assists in just over 100 games for us. That means he has likely positively impacted around a third of the games he has played for us. Ill take that as a squad player as would be hard to get a bench warmer with those sort of numbers

Indeed, but speaking purely hypothetically, if we do well this season and next summer are looking upwards, would we sell him to make room for another wide player that will compete more for a starting berth with the likes of Dibling and Ndiaye?

Again, I like him as a squad player but I’m not sure we’ll be in the position to have more than two wingers per side for a few years financially, and even that assumes everything goes to plan. Just spitballing on what might happen down the line 😊

I watch a lot of Boro due to a friend and he would be a steal at 20 mil, thes best player in the championship
