Other Clubs Transfer Window 2025-2026.

12 incomings and £150m spent, think you need to remember that.
Anar, it's class.

But we also sold £40m worth of players. So "only" £110m spent (spread over multiple years due to contract length). And just generally, to stay up you need to spend money - everyon knows it.

And more importantly, even with those incomings, we're still clearly a winger and a CB short - such is the quality of the PL. Our own manager and DoF have both said we should expect 2-3 new signings this week as well.

So 12 in so far, you need two more, the DoF and manager have said 2-3 this week, I'm failing to see where your complaints are coming from in the initial post.

Read it again lad. There were no complaints? I was simply saying I'd love to actually what goes on behind the scenes during a transfer window, as it'd be interesting. That was it. No complaints at all.

This comes across as a complaint to the reader:

After a really positive start/ middle of the window it's been pretty quiet for weeks at Sunderland - and we're deffo one or two short.

I know our PSR room was very wide, so we could spend quite a bit in the PL, but our UEFA ffp is running very very close.

If Hincapie goes through, I expect no business for 1-2 summers so 3-4 windows, unless an opportunity arises.

The Donnarumma to City one is weird. The reason why football hipsters didn't rate him years ago is because hes awful with the ball at the feet when everyone wanted a ball playing GK.

So bizarre why Pep wants him.

I might be misremembering but I think the Football Weekly Podcast did their season previews a couple of weeks back, and a few of the journos on there were speculating that Pep might be looking to reinvent his side into something at least a bit more direct and physical. Could be part of that maybe?

Bit of an odd way to reinvent when the season starts
