Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Dibling, Grealish and Ndiaye, only around £90m collectively. Not bad value at all in this day and age. All going well, you make most of this back on selling Dibling in a few years anyways, and that's how a healthy club outside of the 6 have to operate.

How you getting to £90m?

Dibling is £35m, Ndiaye was £15m, Grealish had no loan fee.

Busquets chasing Messi around like a lost puppy but sure he’s the one who matters

Never seen Messi play holding mid so wouldn’t know, but Busquets seems to be good enough for Guardiola Enrique Del Bosque to play him there in the best Barcelona and Spain teams of recent times. Rodri is also the current Ballon Dor holder.

Think you may be in a minority not rating them.

…..3 points, another acquisition and all of a sudden folk seem a bit happier about our transfer window ;)

Doing a decent job so far.
The 3 points have helped, definitely. The time to judge a window is at the end of it, but that hasn't been easy when you look at the state the team was in last week.

I still think most people underestimate just how difficult this summer would have been for a variety of reasons, but I'd agree that it's been ok so far.

Unfortunately, because of the issue of numbers, you couldn't really call it a success unless they get another couple across the line.

Heyden Hackney and Tom Fellows and that kid who plays RB at Norwich will do.
The Norwich RB looks about 6 stone wet through. I don't believe he's even starting for Norwich, coming on as a sub (unless he's been injured/isn't fit) - maybe one for the future but not a starting prem RB for me
