He really really did. I’m pretty sure someone compared KDH to Tim Cahill when I was saying I didn’t like the signing a few weeks ago. Things have been tweaked but he’s a 4-4-1-1 lifer.
This was also not meant as a criticism. It’s a good, functional, and versatile way to play. But he’s always adapted within his system. He’s not turned up with a team looking like Antonio Conte’s at some point.

No sure if its still the case, but the amount of time Mainoo got dribbled past was a big concern. Likely why he can't get a game at utd

Soucek seems a no brainer really, for the right fee. Not a player we'll ever get a sale for of course, but a very solid player who'd have no problem playing well into 34/35. Him, Dibling and a right back would be decent business for us, try to fill loans elsewhere then.
I remember talking to a west ham supporter about Soucek, his take was that he considered him decent, he provides goals but is terrible at passing, sounds like someone who just left the club

If Amorim doesn’t rate him, then he’s likely to be very good. Amorim probably can’t even match his own two socks.
Amorim was saying in an interview that the reason why the lad isn’t starting was because he was in competition with Fernandez for a place in the starting 11.
