I think he's a great, effective footballer, but I just don't think he's what the squad is missing right now is all. We need legs. We're slow in the middle.
He is powerful though, we don’t have much of that either.

If he was 5 years younger, yes.
My issue with him is really mostly to do with his age and the wages and fee we'd be looking at.
As a player, I don't have a huge problem with him. He's not the most silky, but he's a good defensive presence, great in the air and has a good eye for goal.
I think he'd be played in the Felliani role further up the pitch.
I think he'd used to use link up play further up the pitch with his back to goal.

I'm not sure on names tbh, but its the wrong profile, like @Nymzee says, we need legs in there, a proper animal who is not afraid to get stuck in and protect the back line.
Lads...Just because we may be interested Soucek doesn't mean we aren't looking at other positions.

Also why bring in technical players like that if you are going to start smashing balls up to Soucek, doesn't make sense to me.
I don't think Soucek starts....I think he'd used in certain games that will require his skillset.
