New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

As @barneygumble said, it's lovely. It's very open with a lot of space and great views. In the winter, I doubt it'll be a place people will hang around for long.

In the nicer weather, however, I think the club could roll out a beer stalls and whatnot, and you'd get quite a few people admiring the view.

We spent about 5-10 minutes sitting on the steps and ambling around, and my son was mesmerised.
I walked up there but it was blocked off before the players had landed, shame they cant accommodate both pedestrians and coaches

I agree with you - but sadly some of our fanbase are...ever heard of a guy called Onslow?
Tbf all clubs have supporters that are like that. Went to see Shrewsbury Town as a kid years ago to Wembley and the whole place smelt like piss. Man U had played there in the Cup the week before and apparently all there fans were just pissing up the walls rather than use the toilets. (My uncle who was a Utd fan who came with us was there the week before to witness it) I don’t get the mentality of some fans doing that. Even more so when it’s your own teams shiny new stadium

Dunno if it's already been mentioned but I was really annoyed seeing there was a few clusters of seats completely empty. Groups of 10 or more seats, all in the west stand.

Can only assume these are seats Everton sold to Seat Unique or something like that which didn't get sold. Made me absolutely furious knowing how many missed out in the ballot.

Everything was great for me.

Left on 95 minutes, on a train and back by 4:30pm.

Getting there, no problem. Off train and to Blue House for 11:30. Queue for 10 mins, fair few barrels going, but that'll get better. Wasnt rammed.

Found stone, easily and then had same teething issues getting in. Had time, got a pint at 1ish, told no Budweiser, so told them to leave it, as dont like San Miguel, and then theg mysteriously had Budweiser.

Seat great, towards back of 007. Everyone around me sound. Atmosphere was great for me. Great to see all 4 sides joining in.

Rode our luck, but history will only tell the story of us winning the first game at BMD.
Shocking. Can't believe you prefer Bud to San Miguel. What have we become? 😕

It was Seat unique mate. I was keeping an eye on it, their price didn’t comedown even before the game.

The club won’t care from their point of view it was sell out. But aesthetically it’s not great.

Think seat unique are going to have to look at their pricing model.

Just wanted to come on and doff my cap to the South stand, that was the wall of sound Meis had in mind when he designed it. Well done to you lads and to everyone else there yesterday for absolutely burying the medias gloat that we would lose that special bear pit atmosphere when we left goodison. The noise yesterday was fantastic! Cannot wait for the derby :)

More singing from us in the South Stand than I expected.

Sunday afternoon ko’s are usually sleepy affairs, plus Brighton’s posession based game kills any atmosphere. Also we were all sat with strangers lol.

However I think we gave it a good go!
