Gonna do a left field shout on the fullback, Rensch at Roma - didn't really work out for him last year after his move in January from Ajax - he wasn't bad like just not great, they've now brought Wesley in who's starting, still only 22 - was really highly touted, and not that expensive.

Can see us maybe loaning him in for a season with an option, wouldn't be a bad move for all concerned.

Could be an easy "fix" for a problem position.

Think a striker on loan with an option would be a sensible move. Worked well under Moyes in the past.

Højlund would be an alternative. If he’s crap you still have Beto and Barry

I hope we can try go for Boniface on a loan. I seen he allegedly failed a medical at Milan but with a 20m fee touted as the obligation to buy I think its good value. Would he come here is another issue.

In both cases I replied to clear wind up posts doubling down on it.

Read Kurt’s post again. ‘I’ve heard stuff might or might not be happening and various stages’.

And the other one was someone saying grealish had done his ACL ffs. Which was clearly Twitter rubbish.

Both were so obviously not serious and I just played along with it.

I can’t work out if people just lack reading comprehension/logic or if they’ve just never used the internet, ever.

Seperate yes, but there will be some communication at certain levels, no coincidence the last test event plus the legends game was Vs them and I'd imagine we end up in Rome for a game next season also.

TFG will have put in place a certain shared philosophy at both clubs, in terms of transfers etc, youth academy stuff yada yada, can see some deals happening between us over the coming years.

Long as those deals serve both clubs interests it's the correct move.

I mentioned Rensch more as with them signing Wesley and the lad looking very very good and starting now for them, Rensch now is sitting behind him so may have become someone they'd consider shifting on, from memory the other RB got brought on v us also - Celek who they failed to move on this summer (he's crap)
