2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

Absolute banker for a booking with the bookies.

Played really well today though Tim. Best I’ve ever seen from him.

Not as flashy or eye catching as some of the early Dyche games that had people going way OTT but just a really solid premier league centre mid performance. Baleba struggled to get hold of it in there today.

Really needs to learn when to give the ball early though. If he carries on like that we may actually have a similar profile to Gana.

I didnt get Moyes playing him ahead of Armstrong but saw it today.

This lad is raw but there was loads to like about his performance today.

He has áreas to work on but with minutes, he will only improve.

They had a really good midfield and I thought he looked better than Baleba, who is a fine player.

Good on ya, Tim.

Why? His ability to make tackles and put in blocks has been demonstrated on plenty of occasions, plus he has the height to operate as a centre-back. He would not be my first choice in the position but I am confident he would be able to do a job if required.
Centre back is a completely specialist position. He would get eaten alive by even a division two level striker. You're completely underestimating how much know how is required to play in different positions.

Final ball
That's true. But if he was finding the final ball consistently he would be an elite player. Hopefully that will come because he has the tools. In terms of physicality and touch he's top level. He choses the right final ball but he lack a bit of conviction with the final pass/shot. I think our fan base really underrate how talented he is.
