SKY Coverage

Weird assessment. I didn’t think that at all, and Brighton were much better than us overall. If anything I imagine the Brighton fans would probably complain today’s show was all about Everton, the new stadium and Grealish
Where you getting they were much better than us overall?! I thought they offered very little and we were comfortable for large spells of the game.

There were definitely several posters on this forum who would have preferred to see us lose today just so they could say they'd been right on the Internet. Some strange people about.
Without doubt. Anyone disagreeing can easily check the posts between 2:35 and 3:15pm. Embarrassing.

I watched the coverage. I was surprised as Sky, and commentator Gary Weavered seemed to big us up. Felt it was very fair coverage. I guess it would have been different if we were playing one of the 6 but talked a lot about our history and we are a big club. We could be the Sky 7th team. Was helped by fact the stadium looked amazing.
Totally blowing Anfield out of the city as the number 1 stadium.

The commentator was very knowledgeable about our history. Loved the remark we’ve had our fingerprints on all 3 stadiums in the city. Referring to our ground as the 4th Grace on the banks of the Roysl Blue Mersey was uplifting. As for the game, thought they were the better team in the first half. Think Mitoma’s would have been ruled out for handball anyway. Spitty was kept quiet largely (don’t even know why he commentating on it). Jags was good and spoke openly about how proud and excited he was with the new stadium. All in all thought Sky’s coverage was fine.

The pundits/presenters on show were a bit weaker that the normal super Sunday team. If it was united vs Liverpool, no chance you'll see that team...everything was a bit amateurish to me, not sure if it is sky saving money, or because it was a bank Holiday weekend...perhaps they are keeping their heavy weights for tomorrow night, more important to them.
