Confirmed Signing Tyler Dibling

He gave Declan Rice a load of games as a teenager in centre mid which is one of the hardest positions to play.

As I was saying earlier, maybe he learned from the Rooney mistakes. It was blindingly obvious at the time that Wayne was ready to start but he held him off too much at the time IMO. Young coach didn't know what to do with a streaking comet back then.

Every Southampton fan comment ive seen is that theyre gutted to lose him.

Think hes the best since, and comparable to Bale.

But they knew he'd be off and are surprised hes not been picked up by a top 4 side.

Not seen anyone say theyve got an amazing deal for a player they love.

This is exactly the same as what my saints ST holder said when I asked if he was any good

Said he was the next gazza

Also said that they’ve had lots of young players that they knew would make it such as lallana, ox,walcott etc but said when they first saw bale they knew he had something else ( didn’t expect him to be a top 3 player in the world ) but knew he was better than the rest …

He said dibling is the only other youngster that they say similar things about

Exactly. When I saw him play the first thing was that players cant get the ball off him and he didnt look 'fancy' or 'rapid'. He made running forward with the ball look effortless against premier league players.

Sometimes even 3 players would be left behind him.

The second thing i noticed after a while was his spacial awareness. All the top players seem to have a picture of what they will do next - he looks to have that and seems to be a step ahead of everyone.

When you take his profile and move it into the centre of the pitch he could turn out to be a special player. For now, hopefully he learns alot from Grealish.

I haven't seen him play, but that sounds promising for a 19 year old 👍

Young coach could see the pitfalls more like, Rooney was still at school, it was more about him protecting from the press and trying to keep his feet on the ground. That's how I saw it anyway. What do you do with a 16 year old kid super talent, I think Moyes tried his best for him. Rooney has said as much.
