I think he's fine as a squad option (hopefully covering the left more than the right since his right foot is as useful as a chocolate teapot), but boy oh boy he has got to finish that one Jack put on a plate for him...

For me he’s still one of the better players in the squad. If we’re going to hit the next level though, he’ll likely be a bit part squad player stepping in when we’ve got injuries. If it wasn’t for his lack of pace he’d be a regular starter.

Building a good squad requires you to have decent backup, why would we sell Mcneil when he’s a proven performer at this level. Just doesn’t make any sense at all does it?

But McNeil, Beto and Garner are 3 players we can make money on when you look at their book values.
And let’s have it right, we ain’t breaking into the European places with these 3 players, and I’d say only Garner is good enough to sit on the bench for team fighting for the Europa League places

And he’s a proven performer fur a team fighting relegation. He’s not proven and never will be for a team wanting to improve and fight for Europe

With PSR we cant continue to spend without sales.

With the front 4 starters emerging, it could be that we sign another wide player that is quick.

McNeil may then be sacrificed depending on what we might get for him.

Fees have increased substantially.
