Think he came through initially as a DM. Has been used all over midfield though.

He did. I just can’t see him as a DM. He is more of a CM that can tackle and progress it. I wouldnt say no to him but would be concerned around the cost of getting him,

Lol not this again. We've got one left back at the club. One kid just signed who has no experience. We've no right back unless we now count our centre half as right back. Other than our other right back who's been here for 46 years and cant last 15 minutes.
Yeah we've nailed the fullback position.

You were specifically relating to the left back position as were talking about a CM playing there.

We have 2. It’s not been neglected. Yeah injuries happen, but you can’t have 3 players per position as it would be unmanageable.

Fullbacks i said. But i can talk left back. As far as im concerned we have one left back at the club ready to play. He happens to be injured. We've just bought someone nobody knows if ready to play or not. He's played 15 games in his career. So i dont count as two. He shouldnt be any back up yet. He needed bedding in. We've no right backs fit for purpose. Coleman is done. Patterson is crap. And both are injured anyway. We've a centre half as our right back.
We've neglected the position. And have done for a few years.

We need more players like tarks...reliable, solid performer, and then you build on top of that solid foundation by bringing a couple special players.

Surely Grealish and Dibling fit the bill for special players.
Add in Ndiyae as well and we have a sprinkling of stardust

Like lots of young inexperienced players have done for years. Bed them into league cup games and a few minutes off the bench in the premier league. Not thrown into the deep end because the club havent recruited fullbacks who are ready to play.
We needed to treat this position with a bit more priority in my opinion. We havent.

Sleeping it seems. Hence the contract extensions for seamus who bless him had his day a few years ago.
