Bernard. I know he was involved with quite a few of the early ones. The guy is a professional snake and he hovers around vulnerable clubs and manipulates his way in and extracts as much money as he possibly can in whatever way possible.

My biggest worry is still where are the goals coming from, Chermiti is not good enough, Beto is a bit hit and miss and I am yet to be convinced about Barry, not writing off yet but do not think he is a real goal scorer.

There's lots of opinions over a return of Richey, but he is a player that would love to return. He also seems to have started the season in decent form, scoring and assisting for Spurs already. I believe they were trying to use him as part exchange for Eze, so they are open for him to leave. He'd certainly be a decent option for us and wpukd add something to our forward line, so for that reason, I'd take him back.

Post Dibling you factor funds are tight. with CM still needing attention I’m shocked as anyone to say this, but I do think checking in on Rabiot makes some sense.

I’ve never been a huge fan. I think his French spot in the national side is likely undeserving at this point. His mother is nuts, and the reports with Rowe less than ideal.

That said he is a starting France Intl in his prime who can drift in various CM roles. Has size at the position Moyes fancies. And the noise and drama are bad, they are also great negotiation grounds. The club has stated they both are gone, the windows closing. Clubs interested holed all the chips in negotiations.

I want a U23 mid to grow with the side but considering our funds I’m not sure that’s happening. If you then are looking for a vet , an add for 15 million on good wages (took a paycut to play for Marseille), who HAS to leave his current club is not a bad consolation.

That’s not to downplay the character questions. Listen he has always had delusions of grandeur to his skills, but last year was praised as a leader. What happened sounds awful but alas here we are.

If you say we should sign a 6, then we need to sign a 6.

No point listing ones that are very defensively focused (Frendrup) and some that aren't at all and just dictators (Stiller).
