Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

He was recovering from and injury and came on as a sub last week at Ipswich. But as soon as the 5 year contract is sign a hamstring will start niggling and lead to a knee injury, which will work its way to a groin strain and we`ll see him in an EFL cup tie in two or three years before he leaves for an undisclosed fee.

Footy fans are funny, arent they?

Saints fans last summer: 'Tyler is the future of English footy - £100m or stay away!'

Saints fans last week: '£50m+ is more than fair, the lad is heading for the very top!'

Saints fans yesterday: 'Hes overrated - laughing with £42m, had Everton off there!'

 💀
Standard footy fans when a player leaves.

We’ll do it with Branthwaite.

There's deffo a whiff of face-saving with these comments like. The realisation that he wasn't the £100m player that they were hoping for at this stage of his career and now hes off to Everton instead of one of the 'big six' has stuck in their craw I reckon. Couple that with the fact that it was widely reported that he wanted the move and it affected his involvement in the first team I reckon they've convinced themselves that the money has suddenly become more useful than the actual player..
