Personally expectations now are just RB and CDM and maybe average loan filler . I am fine with one of those two holes also being a loan in a pinch (albeit a higher level one) if need be, maybe the other with some resources. I know people would like another striker but i'm fine with what we have at least till January. The squad is still mainly built on its backline, we've added goals on the wings and midfield. My main worry is just the amount of cleaning Tark and JB will have to do if the center of the park doesn't have a bit better defensive prowess. And the glaring weakness at RB. I see almost every club targeting that hole if we don't offer another option beyond O'Brien and Seamus.

We've done good business this window but in typical everton fashion it's just been slow. We desperately need a right back, dunno why but I've always been a fan of Lamptey who seems available and cheap and potentially off to Fiorentina. Could restart his career here. I'm hoping we put a bid in.

I agree to a point - feel like we need to replace Garner with a midfield destroyer. With our current squad I would play Gana there instead so we have a ball winner, but ideally would prefer a proper defensive beast in there . Love Gana, but he’s more a scrappy ball chasing type for me, rather than a proper defensive screen
