Honestly, we are better off building the foundation first then focusing on striker. It's not that a striker isn't important. But if you can't get the freaking ball to your striker in the first place, it is that much harder for them to perform or improve in Barry's (even Beto's) case. As I said earlier, striker is the absolute most difficult role to play well and most strikers do not make it. If we can spread the goals and start getting some service in, we can get a much better gauge of where we are at instead of wasting money on another potentially disastrous devastating Maupay-esque signing.
