Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

Interesting that Joyce said it was Southampton who instigated contact. Suggests they relented more so on demand. Perhaps a few mill and 5%

Isn't that a bit convenient for our owners, though, to have that message put out there?

Not saying it's not true, mind, but I'd be skeptical of all narratives around this. I must check out how the Southampton beat journos are framing this...

Isn't it 20% of what's over the fee were buying him for ?
I believe if extras are achieved it'll turn out being something like £48m in total should all aspects be successful, thereby surpassing the Iceland fee. So 20% of any profit on what we'd paid at that point. We get what we want and end up paying the full amount (all add ons) then say sell for £50m then I'm not sure anyone's to bothered about 400k going to southampton.

It's all hypothetical anyway, he'll end up like Douglas Bader before he captains England to WC glory whilst on the Everton books.

It's almost as if the selling clubs have pressure to sell, just as the buying clubs have pressure to buy.

They waited to see if a market developed for him, it didn't, and now they need to buy for their season in the Championship.
