I think they knew he and Mateus Fernandes would be sold this summer.

I suspect they'll he happy with the fee.

He's a bit like Richarlison for me (another i named as being someone we should go for)

1st half of the season he was ace.

2nd half of the season Watford used him as a deeper player and almost like a 2nd left back.

Hence his attacking stats dropped off.

With Dibling he dropped off when the manager was replaced by the clown who used to manage Roma.

I think now the Grealish signing becomes a fabulous one as he should be very helpful in improving Diblings game through mentorship.

As for the midfielder, I wonder if we need:

1: Box to box monster
2: Defensive midfielder

Whoever it is needs to have positional discipline as weve seen what happens when Gana plays with Iroegbunam.

We need a 6 bad as KDH is perfect for the 8

1: Im an elite manager, players will come
2: Elite stadium players will come
3: Grealish signed so players will come
4: KDH signed so players will come

These are players he's handpicked that dont want to play for him.

Dont think so look at the delap chase was straight to the point saying was a hard deal. Moyes is realistic whatever you may think of him wont just think we can bring in players. But will think he can convice them the best thing is for the player to come us. Will always be frustration between the recuritment team both sidea have been at fault. Not really sure why you keep bringing moyes up is all of them

Dibling + 2 or 3 loans on DD would be very good and leave us with some optimism after a very trying few weeks.

Depends on the postions has to be atleast two for me cdm and rb. Hopefully another cf aswell if we can

LW: Ndiaye

The club will know an enormous amount of players and have data on and scouted them.

Back in February how has the process not started with agents? When we were safe why havent bids been made to clubs whose players agents' have given us their terms and done the work for us with their clubs on transfer terms?

I simply dont understand how all of the players we signed permanently couldnt have been done and dusted and through the door July 1st.

In addition, how and why have we not filled those vacant positions with the very best u23 players whose agents have been working with us since February?

Not really all DMs perhaps but Hugo Larsson (Frankfurt), Lamine Camara (Monaco), Andrey Santos (Chelsea), Habib Diarra (Strasbourg-Sunderland)

Just 4 players that we could have been speaking with and I'm confident that one of them would have signed for us.

Each of them with high potential and would be assets.

Thats just a basic list and perhaps none of them were suitable for us. But there would have been another 4 who we could have got, for each of those 3 positions.

If we'd have bid £45mil for Dibling pre-window wouldnt Southampton have sold him?

What about a £80-90mil double deal for him and Mateus Fernandes also of Southampton?

Would they have rejected this pre window?

No idea. But there are plenty of players like these 2 that i'm certain we could have nailed down early.

This is what the club needs. A rebuild with top quality, high potential young players.

Not the likes of senior, experienced players who should have been signed on loan (e.g Grealish).

Grealish was signed on loan mate , with an option to buy

I reckon we were fairly high up delaps list. The noise was all very positive around him and Moyes. But was always going to be a huge battle. Be interesting to see what happens with him. Noticed he only got 17 mins at the weekend but is starting tonight. Wonder what promises he was given about minutes/starts.

Even with Dibs we are going to severely struggle to score goals simply because we don't have a decent striker in the squad. Barry might become one in the future, but he's not good enough for our top-half aspirations this season.

Beto and Chermiti are obviously garbage.

At this rate we are definitely going to need about 30 goals combined from Grealish, Ndiaye and Dibling, which obviously isn't happening.

Desperate for a quality striker.
