Everton Youth Teams Thread

Pretty even half I thought, edged by a very good Fulham team. Might have been a different game if Morgan scored his chance.

Really hope to see Van Schoor in the second half. OSS is just a wasted pass, he always ends up going back.
My sentiments exactly. It's painful watching a player so bad and lacking in confidence going forward. Reminds me of the Holgate right back days

Starting to wonder if Clarke is better suited to play as a poacher of some sort. Obviously got an eye for the goal and he looked good in the few U18 games he played up top last year…. But his touch/close control along the flanks is just not there.
He's very raw and his running gait makes him look uncoordinated so yes he needs more room to play

I still think he’s got a great ceiling. I think a few others have mentioned it also but it feels like he’s been moved up to the U21s too early. The difference in possession ability between him and even someone like JBC is pretty apparent.

Think Clarke has a very high ceiling with the skill set he has. He’s raw as you like though. Decision making is well off.

He’ll improve his close control and decisions over time, think he’s got a chance.

Thomas having a poor game by his standards but their lad up top looks decent. Not seen Tamen come out 2nd best very often before but he’s struggled tonight.

Not much to say about any of the others that we don’t know really. Morgan has something about him, just needs to improve on his actual involvement in the game. When he’s involved we tend to make things happen.
