Medical early next week...forgot its a bank holiday weekend, so we have slowed down, not that we were going very quicky...I hope spurs don't do an arsenal on us...if it's that close, surely it can be finalised today, medical over the weekend and presented to the fans on Sunday...dont like to prolong it more than it needs to be, especially so close to deadline day.

Medical will have been booked for the weekend, The Nut will probably post a cryptic post Sunday and it gets announced Monday for him to debut Wednesday

Didn't think we would spend this big on a 19 year old and can't be sure of the impact he'll make. You can't be sure with anyone though.

Just have to hope for the best. It's a bold and brave move by the club at a time when they've copped a lot of flak, including from me.

It's definitely bold and brave right now. It will be a considered a masterstroke if he is a success, but a feckless gamble if he fails.

THIS is precisely the kind of thing on which our "competent professionals" will be judged. In their defence, one signing is a small sample size. But rest assured this deal will be either a boon for their reputations or a stick with which to beat them over the coming years.
