Compare them to the Forest owner: yes he’s a bit of a mentalist but he clearly wants the club to succeed.
He’s visible, backs them financially and ferociously defends them in public.

TFG like to stay in the background and delegate to ‘best in class’ operators which is fine but you live and die by the quality of the management team.
Unfortunately the summer transfer window so far has been scattergun at best and we can’t get deals over the line.
Yes the market is challenging but the underlying pool of players is huge and these people are paid a lot of money to deliver. It’s their job!
To be fair I really wanted Mosh to do that. Really happy he spent cash but really wanted him to leave it in people’s hands who knew what they were doing football wise. They have a little bit of credit from me as the transfer team have only been in early doors. We can of course debate if it wise to let Kev go or not as a separate matter. The fact they have brought in other very wealthy People to the table seems to indicate to me that they are here for the long term. Premier league clubs especially ones like Everton don’t often come around to own.

It’s going to be a transition season and what they do next summer will be telling, this is the part for me that sucks, as it seems that every year under Mosh and yet another new manager we were told this is the transition season, and now we finally have one it feels like so many wasted years in the past! So I feel while it sucks, the really test will be the summer of 2026 onwards.

Personally, of course I am an Everton fan but I really don’t see why they would put all there eggs in Roma. Clearly Roma are better than us atm, but this is the PL, it’s where the money is and where the billionaires want to play (it would seem)

This lot need to get in here and sort this situation out.

You cant run Everton from Texas.

There's an underperforming transfer team here and a manager who's determined to use it to kill any buzz around the club.

We have less than two weeks to get 5 or 6 decent quality signings in here, and if we dont then their investment could be heading for the u-bend.

Their choice...

I still prefer them to any owner we've had in nigh on 40 years, so far anyway.

Branthwaite was our most important signing this summer. I genuinely don't think it was possible to undo all the fallout, of the nuclear holocaust that has been our transfer strategy for a decade, in one window.

They do need to get a move on though.

They need to step in even if it's a video conference. It's clear they dont want to turn up here, in any case.

They have a huge investment and they know that this has been a frustrating transfer window to say the least. They're business people so they presumably know that things aren't right here.
