I know Dave is a catastrophist but that was a pretty downbeat presser.

He's just said the players the club wants are out of reach, so having money (apparently) is neither here nor there.

Quite ironic you are looking at him to be positive, when 24/7 you are the most negative ‘fan’ I’ve ever come across.

This is a different club now then when Moyes was here and he won't get away with one of his slow starts to the season that he used to

although it was said get him in as he knows the club

Obviously we're still encountering obstacles but being skint has been a major barrier in the past , so far that factor being removed should increase the chances of filling in the gaps by the end of the window.
