Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Wouldn’t shock me, we think our new young striker is a bit raw so instead of getting a proper team and system in place to help him out and get him up to speed faster, we instead block his pathway and development with another over the hill, overpaid striker and don’t address the actual key imbalances in the side and then wonder why another new striker hasn’t magically solved our issues
Or we need three strikers and Chermiti isn't good enough

In many ways welcome Jamie V.

Tbf Moyes wouldn't be able to accurately assess a striker's ability anyway. Has always been his achillies heel.

And I'm not having that people didn't know this ahead of the purchase. Just seems like the usual Everton chaos this. It's like the ghost of Kenwright is still with us.

Moyes didn’t seem to have the best working relationship with the DOF/recruitment team at West Ham, did he? I don't want to be the club that relinquishes transfer decisions to the manager because it will end badly.
He's an old school manager who wants to have that autonomy to decide transfers so I could definitely see some tension developing under a committee setup

Seriously how many Premier League teams gave decent game time to 3 different centre forwards last year?

You’re not keeping 3 centre forwards happy, especially when you only play with 1 striker

I just do not think striker is anywhere near our priorities and I’d like to see us actually put some faith in our new young striker who was good enough to lead the line for a Villarreal side that qualified for the Champions League
