Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

In many ways welcome Jamie V.

Wouldn’t shock me, we think our new young striker is a bit raw so instead of getting a proper team and system in place to help him out and get him up to speed faster, we instead block his pathway and development with another over the hill, overpaid striker and don’t address the actual key imbalances in the side and then wonder why another new striker hasn’t magically solved our issues

Why do the club do these things

I dont think we can expect to get through the season without 3 more signings

Right midfield / right forward
Midfield
Right back

These are the priorities and essential. Everything else is not needed and takes up funds better used elsewhere

Moyes' rationale was that he is such an inspirational figure in the locker room, okay then absorb him into the coaching stuff or hire him as a motivational speaker as notable as he was for this club he's clearly beyond his capacity to play professional football anymore especially if he wasn't on the pitch Monday deputizing as left back. We can't afford any ceremonial players right nowv
I’ve a feeling Coleman will lead the team out on Sunday

Then go off injured after 10 mins

You want that to be fair.

I agree friction is healthy mate, but it has become a running theme over the last week or so and it would appear that we're losing out as a result.

At this stage, it should be Marc Watts stepping in, as the most senior TFG representative at the club.

You don't have to make a lot of leaps to deduct that it's Moyes on one side and Kinnear/Hammond on the other.

I don't know how you solve that mess but it is a mess and does need solving yesterday.
