Of all the Dave complaints, the sponsor is the most nutty by far. It’s like saying the Allianz Arena shouldn’t have Allianz on it, like wise the Etihad, the Emirates, the King Power and so on
Google itWhat did they look like when they opened?
Most people, almost everyone on the planet, know it’s a football stadium. A hulking, iconic, Scouse stadium that blends tradition and modernity built in the image of and by Everton
That defines it and we don’t need to plaster it with Everton - let the stadium speak for us. The addition of a naming partner is done sympathetically to the design of the building
That law firm has history in the city that predates Everton, employes +1000 people in the city and has historic links to the club. Preferable to Emirates / Etihad / various global blue chip - we literally couldn’t have chose a partner more connected to the city or to the location of our new home
The owners / administrators of the club have played a blinder with this one

This is either genius or mental, can’t quite decideYou lot don’t get it, do you? This new stadium isn’t just bricks and steel. It’s a monument to hypocrisy.
The docks were built on the slaves trade, money from the Atlantic trade.
Fast forward a couple centuries, and who’s plastered all over it?
Budweiser, an American lager from the very nation that got rich off the same trade.
And if that’s not enough, we’ve also got Hill Dickinson, the ambulance chasers of the legal world, sticking their name on it too. The whole thing’s a circus of bad taste.
Everton, the “People’s Club,” flogging itself to beer brands and lawyers while building on a cursed dock.
Fill it with concrete all you like, but history seeps through. And when that first ball is kicked against Brighton, don’t be surprised if the floodlights flicker and a Bud bottle rolls down the stand by itself.
But sure, let’s all clap because the k'n fan zone looks nice.
Morals went out of football decades ago. Moores catalogue and Pools money ? You never really swallowed that Peoples Club stuff did you ?You lot don’t get it, do you? This new stadium isn’t just bricks and steel. It’s a monument to hypocrisy.

Couldnt care less mate....and IF I did find that it was bare of club names on the stadiums back then why would that be ok for Everton to repeat the mistake?

But we went the game anyway. My thoughts on them are up there with the wind turbine located nearby.

I did...
When Arsenal opened the Emirates in 2006.

When City were first sponsored by Etihad in 2009

That's what I'm talking about.
Must be amazing if upon purchase or renting all you have moved into are fully furnished, fully renovated homes. As has already been pointed out, city and Arsenal changed their grounds with personal touches over 2/3 seasons, like one would with a house. Decorate, then I want new furniture, after that the garden needs doing, then I want the kitchen redoing. You still live in the house though. The big old dick(inson) will change a lot over the next few years as we bed in So to speak....and IF I did find that it was bare of club names on the stadiums back then why would that be ok for Everton to repeat the mistake?
