Most people, almost everyone on the planet, know it’s a football stadium. A hulking, iconic, Scouse stadium that blends tradition and modernity built in the image of and by Everton

That defines it and we don’t need to plaster it with Everton - let the stadium speak for us. The addition of a naming partner is done sympathetically to the design of the building

That law firm has history in the city that predates Everton, employes +1000 people in the city and has historic links to the club. Preferable to Emirates / Etihad / various global blue chip - we literally couldn’t have chose a partner more connected to the city or to the location of our new home

The owners / administrators of the club have played a blinder with this one

To be fair Dave, it does have the word “Stadium” in big massive letters, as opposed to the words “Hill Dickinson Regional Office”.

If people assumed that building to be a regional office, then they’ve likely got bigger problems in life, like tying their shoelaces.

Needs our name prominently on both West and East stands.

Again mate, Jeremy Corbyn and ‘The Socialist worker’ newspaper aren’t looking to sponsor stadiums right now, so we have to look to those that are. Also, you wouldn’t know how big this law firm are because you can’t afford their services, they’re big fish, not concerned with folks like you and me. Also,also, it is literally not at Everton’s expense, the firm pays a lot of money to have the name on the stadium, at their expense, that is how it works. Honestly, I’ve never seen such a terrible troll as you. Trolls are often clever, needling away at things that have a modicum of truth to them, you just make things up, often contradicting your own nonsense with other nonsense. Just sad.

We are so full of small time, parochial stuff from top to bottom. We moan about never winning or spending anything, then moan about things like corporate sponsorship. Premier League is big business. To hang with the big boys, you either do big boy things, or get out. That ‘city of Liverpool’ mob who wear purple might be looking for fans.

I’m not overly bothered by seeing Hill Dickinson in several places - it’s the nature of the beast if you want the big bucks from sponsorship.

However, that should say Everton on that tunnel.

It says Everton in the enormous letters spelled out with flags.

Also, I havent been that bothered about the lack of white letters in the seating
but those flags should be permanent white seats, they look great.

I think it’s genius marketing giving Hill Dickinson so much exposure and branding on the stadium

When the naming rights deal expires I can see massive companies chomping at the bit to pay the big bucks to sponsor us knowing that their name and brand will be everywhere
