I enjoy classics and thrillers. I'm open to anything though. I try to watch just about anything that sounds interesting.
You're in luck.

Michael Caine documentary 7pm BBC FOUR
The Italian Job (1969) 8pm BBC FOUR
Hannibal Lector documentary 9:35pm BBC FOUR
The Silence of the Lambs 10:20pm BBC FOUR
On the Waterfront 12:10am BBC FOUR

The adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the desert 11:40pm BBC1

I'll have a go of that, sub the Palace game in for 'the Italian Job' and it's a solid evenings watch.

Priscilla is a guilty pleasure, it’s just a wonderful film and never in a million years would you have dreamt of casting Hugo Weaver, Guy Pearce and Terence Stamp to play their parts !

Thank you for sharing. I am going to watch some of these that I have yet to see. I will follow up over the next few weeks.

"40 acres" a post apocalyptic film, in a world were few crops grow a family defend their farm against attackers
It's one of those films that is middle of the road, there's nothing to sway a feeling of love or hate, the characters are quite dull, the plot seems to lack something and lacks any pace or intensity, I'd mark it around 5.5/10

These are all on tonight, if you can digibox tape em, then do so for watching later.
The Italian Job (1969) 8pm BBC FOUR <<-------Comedy caper.
The Silence of the Lambs 10:20pm BBC FOUR <<----- Psychological thriller (some say Horror, bit I'm not sure) (7 Oscar nominations, winning 5)
On the Waterfront 12:10am BBC FOUR <<------Drama ( 12 Oscar nominations, winning 8!)

The adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the desert 11:40pm BBC1 <<----Comedy Drama, Road movie. (Academy award 'Best costume')
Only watched 'Silence' last week, and have seen it closer to 100 times than I have ten, it's so good it's still fresh and there's so much to follow that it's still a treat. Wraps up in about 105 minutes, and it's taut. Lost out on the Oscar for best sound to T2 and editing to JFK. I think it's aged magnificently, compared to those two. What a year of film 1991 was.

Titanic, David Moyes at the helm (we know the end!!).

Also watched The Long Goodbye - same end as above!!

Unfortunately watched Red Dawn again!!

Think i'm a jinx!!!!!☹️

You may enjoy 'In a Violent Nature'.

Shot on the whole from the POV of a slasher killer akin to Jason or Myers.

Nothing hugely different all in all, but a decent watch.
It wasn't bad. I found it to be a bit slow.

Speaking of Jason and Michael, they already made a Jason and Freddie crossover film...
But a Friday the 13th/Halloween crossover film? That has potential to be boss!

Lol, but gave this a watch this week:

It was a pretty decent watch!
It had shades of that Demi Moore film ‘The Substance’ from last year.
