Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The very fabric of this thread is repetition, if 3000 of the 3467 pages isn't made up of the following then we've fallen short of standards;

- Cheers Al
- Post of Gana at Finch Farm having pictures done (whether the player is white or black)
- A urine soaked bedsheets jibe
- Random outbreak of Cat gifs
- Someone offering to fight someone

The new introduction to the thread, because we're not complete dinosaurs, is the introduction of conversations with AI for comedy purposes and new AI generated images.

An optional swear filter might spark some creativity….right?

Currently shaping up to be an absolutely classic Moshiri window this, leaving all of our key business to the last minute placing far too much pressure on deadline day and then we get sent packing with nothing but Enner Valencia and a ‘James McCarthy is family’ shout to show for it.

God only knows what the next week and a half will bring but it’s looking increasingly likely that we’re going to be left very short of both numbers and quality.

"Good ebenig, Jim."

The fact you’re going back that far says absolutely everything.

Remember when we loaned Van de Beek, Harrison, Lindstrom, Broja, Ruben Vinagre, Coady, El Ghazi, Josh King, Sidibe. Terrible that was.
Well thanks be to God they were loans and we didnt buy them..... Its all about perspective, try before you buy can be a savvy way of doing things.

And points.

10 days to sign 3 or 4 players ready to go into the first team and elevate this boring and uninspiring nothingness. A complete dereliction of duty for numerous individuals on our board and, potentially, the manager.

Teams like Villa and Newcastle bypassed us a few years ago now. Now it's the turn of mighty teams like Forest (been in the Championship for years), Bournemouth, Brighton, and Brentford to do the same. 53k seater stadium means absolutely nothing when you're in 14th place in the league again. No risks are currently being taken when clearly they need to give this a go whilst being conscious of PSR/FFP.

Forest are signing players with European pedigree, we're looking at young right backs from Norwich and wingers from Southampton and still can't get them done. Our poster boy for the season is only on loan. Our first game of the season was an embarrassment. A promoted team humiliated us with their effort and dynamism whilst we had a team with the very definition of square pegs in round holes.

10 days to sort this out - who really thinks they will do it?
